Free Things To Do in Bude: Beaches, Walks, Canal and Views

The Bude Light in Cornwall

Beaches

Summerleaze, Crooklets and Widemouth Bay can all work as free beach stops once you have handled parking. Check tides, dog rules and safety signs.

Bude Canal

The canal is one of the easiest free walks in Bude. It is useful for families, rainy gaps and arrival-day exploring.

Coast path views

Short coast path sections can give you big views without a paid attraction. Avoid exposed paths in bad weather.

Rock pools and beach walks

At lower tide, Crooklets and Widemouth Bay can be good for rock pools and beach exploring. Keep an eye on the tide and supervise children closely.
