Seasons GreetingsThe Festive Season at BudemeadowsSeasons Greetings

Christmas in CornwallWe are open 365 days a year which means that if you need a quiet bolt hole for your touring caravan or motorhome over the Christmas and New Year Holidays, Budemeadows may be your ideal choice.   Bude and the surrounding towns, villages, beaches and coastal pathways will be uncrowded and yours to explore (the ever present surfers excepted).

Happy New YearDuring the winter months our site stays quiet, we have 34 hard-standing pitches, about a quarter of the total, so we are never crowded, there being little demand for grass pitches in the winter months - apart from a few hardy souls who do camp year round.  Although our bar and shop are closed we do keep a stock of basic non-perishable groceries and keep a supply of milk on hand - we also stock a range of beer and wine.

Brave swimmers take a dip on Christmas morning View of central Bude Merry ChristmasOn Christmas Day Bude's Crooklets beach is host to the largest swimming event in the South West.  The Mike Moyle Memorial Christmas Swim attracts more than 500 swimmers and 4 times that number of spectators - well it is a non-wetsuit event!

Happy Ne YearFor those of you who can't fit a turkey into their caravan oven most of the local restaurants and pubs have a Christmas Menus in the run up to Xmas, details can be found on the VisitBude Website and we have copies of menus for local pubs and restaurants in our reception area.

Seasons GreetingsThe Bude Tourist Information Center also has a list of events in the local area which they update regularly, find it on the BudeTIC Website

A Cornish ChristmasNORAD run a great website with lots of info about Santa, the North Pole and his Reindeer. There's even a tracker which allows you to use the defense radar systems to track the progress of St Nick on the night.
